Migration Counselling for Adult Immigrants (MBE) offers services for immigrants from the age of 27 years and their children.

Numbers and downloads

In 2024, 1,276 counselling centres were available to those seeking advice. At these permanent and mobile locations, the MBE offered immigrants seeking advice professional support and guidance in all matters relating to arrival, integration, and participation in Germany. In total, the MBE recorded 304,226 counselling cases that year, with a focus on individual advice and comprehensive assistance. Including family members, the MBE reached 542,982 people with its counselling services during this period.

Migration Counselling is implemented by the welfare organisations which are members of the Federal Association of Non-statutory Welfare (BAGFW) and by the Federation of Expellees (Bund der Vertriebenen, BdV).
