German with Volunteers

In many cities, towns and regions there are volunteers to support people with learning German. The lessons are not usually given by trained German teachers but by native-speakers of German who teach German in their free time. There is nothing to pay for these services.

If you are unable to attend an integration or German language course, or if you are still waiting to be admitted to a course, this is a good opportunity to learn and practice some German.

Ask your local Migration Advisory Service for Adult Immigrants about whether any free German language services from volunteers are available in your city, town or region.
