If you already hold a professional qualification that allows you to work in Germany, and you already have good German language skills, the next step is to look for work.

If you are particularly interested in a certain company, there is no reason not to contact them directly and ask about their current vacancies.

• There are also numerous job portals offering current vacancies on the internet. You can use these to search for jobs in your region or research roles that match your qualifications.
• Another option is to research what is on offer in the daily newspapers such as Die Zeit, Süddeutsche Zeitung or Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung which have extensive national job vacancies sections. There are also regional newspapers with good job portals.
